Consuming yet another dream

Recently in life I’ve experience a lot, especially witnessing the trials and tribulations of others. Furthermore, I’ve come to the realization that life is extremely short and that we cannot take a single moment of it for granted.

With that being said, I’ve decided to step up my efforts, putting my passions into overdrive and chasing my dreams in gull gear.

Firstly, my photography is in full swing and has been for some time. I am extremely excited about the weddings I have lined up for 2010. You got to LOVE, LOVE! I know I love witnessing love and sharing such joy’s moments – added bonus getting paid to witness such magical moments capturing people’s weddings.

Secondly, I have been toying with pursuing makeup artistry on a serious basis for some time, going as far as having purchased all the Mac professional brushes, as well as half their inventory items the summer of 2009. A year later and I am that more committed to chasing this dream and advancing my skills in a profession I adore. This is where the esteemed and very well- regarded Yorkville School of Makeup and Esthetics comes in – to polish my rusty skills for me. I am SUPER excited about starting my classes there.

So far I’ve been fortunate enough to have amazing clients who let me test out my makeup application skills on them on their special day – for the brides that let me do their makeup thus far I thank you for the experience. For the once to come, I promise you were going to have a blast Insha’Allah.

Also, I’ve always dreamed of being my own boss, and having my own business, which Magan Moments is allowing me to do, but I never dreamed of finding a way to incorporate my love of fashion into my daily life, until now that is. Although my business ideas are extremely premature to share with you at this moment, just know I am super excited about another business idea I have in mind and have so far shared it with select family members. As always their support humbles me and shows me how fortunate I really am in life – they have gone far and beyond their duties as family members, with offers to help encourage, facilitated and most importantly give capital. MAN, I LOVE MY FAMILY!

I am grateful for them every single day of my life. Thank you God (Allah) for having blessed me with these amazing individuals. Love every single last one of you knuckle heads!

Anyways, stayed tuned for all these amazing undertaking I am pursuing. Knowing me I am sure I will share every little aspect with you in due time.
