I had a date with Monday I wish I stood up
I anticipate Mondays the way people anticipate breakups – with dread! I wish I can find a way to divorce Monday’s or at least prolong my fleeting affair with Fridays. Better yet, why not just stand up Monday's and not even bother showing up for our usual date.
How wonderful would it be, if someone could bottle up the feeling of a Friday and make it into a fragrance to be purchased on a Monday? I know I would purchase that scent in large quantities and overdose myself with it every Monday.
Although I hate Mondays, and I admit my hatred dates back to my childhood – could be a repressed childhood memory now that I think about it. Maybe I got teased extra by the never ending bullies on Monday's? Maybe I flanked a major test that had a profound impact on my life today? Maybe I got dumped on a Monday? Or maybe I just hate the darn day because it would be admitting that the weekend has gone by in a blink and back to reality: School, work. Whatever the case or reason, I've always hated Monday's
Hence why I make an effort to make uneventful Monday's a little more bearable by playing dress up. Let me be honest, I never really need an excuse to dress up. I love all that is feminine, and dressing up in pretty things always makes me good.

ReplyDeleteWhy thank you for your lovely compliment hun. I am going to definitely try to be consistent and load up pics every Monday! Monday's can be dreadful and boring. Any reason to have something to focus on.
