I Forgive

I ended my year with FORGIVENESS and abundance of LOVE.
I forgive myself for not accomplishing all the goals I set out to do.
I forgive her for all the things she said,
the same way I forgive him for all the things he did not.
I forgive all the people who fell short of my expectations.
Just as I have forgiven myself for all the ways I didn’t measure up.
I forgive him,
her,
in the hope that the one above me will forgive me for all the steps I missed.
All the lessons I failed to learn.
All the words I uttered,
And all the sins I have accumulated,
all in the name of being human.

“I don't know if I continue even today, always liking myself. But what I learned to do many years ago was to forgive myself. It is very important for every human being to forgive herself or himself because if you live, you will make mistakes- it is inevitable. The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself. If we don't have that we never grow, we never learn, and sure as hell we should never teach.”
