Words console, comfort and calm me when all else fails me

Call me if you locate him

I want a man who calls me
Just to say good morning or sweet dreams.
I want a man who asks my opinion,
Be it something as trivial as what movie to see
Or where to eat dinner.
I want a man who after checking out a hot woman tells me I look better.
Be it a lie.
I want a man who knows it's that time of the month
And lets me get away with being a little bitchy or whiny.
I want a man who isn't jealous if another man checks me out.
But smiles knowing I am with him.
I want a man who has my back no matter what in public,
Be it a different matter in private.
I want a man who can tell when I am overtly sad or happy,
And response on cue.
I want a man who can chat up my sister or friend
Upon recognizing her on the street.
I want a man comfortable enough not to be a historian,
A drill sergeant or an undercover cop.
My past is my past and only mine to dig around in.
I want a man who doesn't define me by my mistakes.
Or worst, the words of others.
I want a man who is free of making judgment about me and those I love.
I want a man who can find something positive to say
When he doesn't agree with my new hair cut, clothes, or opinion.
I want a man whose ambition list doesn't include f**king every one insight
I want a man who respects my mind as well as my body.
I want a man who understand that NO is a full sentence.
I want a man who is better than me at the art of compromising,
Therefore teaching me a thing or two,
I want a man who is confident in all aspects of his life.
I want a man who can erase all my negative notions of what love is.
I want a man who can teach me to love.
